This place is super authentic. The handmade dumplings are delicious - stuffed fresh and available steamed or fried. BLISSFUL! Another treat was the Sesame Pancake stuffed with veggies. Light, yet super fulfilling. The Double Pan Fried Noodles and Marinated Beef Stew Noodle Soup were fair choices, but at the end of the day - just “MEH”. Our server told us that the dumplings, buns and pancakes were made on the premises. Makes sense - being that the noodle dishes weren’t as outstanding as the homeade items. Would definitely try something different next time….and there will be a next time. Open late, affordable plates. Glitz and Grub approved.
WAKE UP WEDNESDAYS!
*EVERY WEDNESDAY KEEP POSTED FOR THE ADMIRED ARTIST OF THE WEEK*
This week’s artist is THE TWO. WAKE UP and check them out - glitz and grub approved! Saw them play during CMJ @ Hiro Ballroom. Went to a showcase to check out Chateau Marmont (the showcase was called FRANCE ROCKS NYC, all French acts) and was stoked to accidentally discover The Two. Amazing live and fancying their tracks online. Cool story, talented band, excellent music…check them out. LOVES.
